To mark the celebration of the birth of the “Mestre Ferrero”, the Centenary Committee launched a campaign to promote part of the catalogue of works by José María Ferrero Pastor. Without a doubt, the pasodoble Daniel Juan is a well-known composition in the regions where the Moors and Christians festivals are celebrated. However, it is far less familiar in other parts of the Valencian Community and even less so throughout the rest of Spain. For this reason, this campaign has been created to encourage the performance of this outstanding pasodoble.
Attached you will find the letter addressed to all member bands of the Valencian Federation, together with a form that any musical society may complete, should they wish, to formally express their support for this campaign.
Furthermore, if, due to concert programming or other scheduling circumstances, it is not possible for your musical society to include Daniel Juan in its repertoire, but another work by Mestre Ferrero can be performed instead, your collaboration and participation in this centenary celebration will be equally appreciated. In that case, we also invite you to complete the form to record your participation.
