A life devoted to music
Mestre Ferrero received many tokens of recognition throughout his life. But it was undoubtedly after his death that a multitude of events were organised to highlight his figure both musically and as a person. There were quite a few entities and official organisations that organised events in his memory. The list below serves as a sample of all of them.

The Ontinyent Festival Society awards him the medal for festive merit.

On August 16, the Ontinyent Festival Society awards him the gold badge.

In August, during this month, a commission for homage was created at the request of the City Council, which was made up of representatives of the City Council, the Sociedad de Festeros, the Unión Artística Musical, the UNDEF (Union of Festive Entities) and the family. Among other initiatives, the commission would produce the publication of the scores of the works of Mestre Ferrero that are still in manuscript and the creation of an International competition for the composition of symphonic-festive music that bears his name.

April. The Ontinyent City Council decides to name an upcoming city park after him.
Año 1989
August. The 25th anniversary of the Moorish march Chimo is commemorated and homage is paid to him at the end of the entrance of the bands of Ontinyent, perpetuating and becoming the act of the festivities which undoubtedly marks the beginning of the festivities.
Año 1996
The Sociedad Unión Artística Musical de Ontinyent awarded him the golden insignia of the society and gave his name to the School of Music.
Año 1997
The festival committee of the Moors and Christians of Mutxamel pays tribute to him as part of the 5th festival of festive music.
Año 2012
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of his death, various public and private entities are promoting different acts that once again praise the figure of Mestre Ferrero.

Various commemorative acts in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Moorish march Chimo. Naming of Chimo as the Official Hymn of the Moors and Christians Festivities of Ontinyent.
